Finding a psychotherapist who will be a good fit for you is one of the most important aspects of healing and effective therapy. I welcome your call to answer questions about therapy in general, my services, or to obtain referrals to other professionals if that seems more appropriate.
Style: My style is friendly, supportive, and pragmatic. Others describe me as supportive, trustworthy and sincere. I draw from a variety of approaches and think creatively to find solutions that are best for you.

Interest: I specialize in personal growth, improving relationships, effective communication skills and healing the impacts of trauma, abuse and other difficult life experiences. My interest also includes managing anxiety, stress, depression, grief, self-esteem issues and life transitions.
I am an advocate of enhancing treatment through neuroscience, body/mind, creative and drama therapy approaches. Play and creativity allows for greater insight, accelerated healing and personal growth while having fun.
I also firmly believe in the power of groups. Groups offer a special opportunity for connecting and self-reflection, allowing participants to find community and learn from each other in ways that may not occur in individual treatment.
Specialties: I am trained in the highly effective IFS (Internal Family Systems) and BSP (Brainspotting) therapy approaches. Individually and in combination, these powerful healing methods will help you gain a sense of clarity and leadership over your emotional and behavioral patterns, through facilitating profound healing and transformation from traumatic and various other life experiences. Both IFS and BSP offer a gentle and non-pathologizing path of personal growth.
I also trained in DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), couples and group therapy, and creative/expressive approaches. I use a variety of techniques from these methods to enhance your treatment.
I look forward to meeting you in person!
